Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Hangzhou Wanhui Qianyu Technology Co., Ltd. collects, uses, stores, and protects information when providing the DOBIDOBI AI visual creation service.
1. Information We Collect
Account information: email address, display name, avatar, and user ID for registration, sign-in, and account identification. Creation content: photos, videos, audio, prompts, reference materials, and related task and project records that you submit. Device and usage information: push token, device platform, product interaction records, and necessary technical diagnostic information. Transaction information: subscription status, DOBI coin balance, and purchase history. Payment details such as card numbers are processed by payment providers and are not directly accessible to us.
2. Face Data
Face data we may collect: some photos or videos you choose to upload may contain faces. DOBIDOBI may process visible facial features, face position, expression, pose, head orientation, and related visual characteristics in the submitted material. We do not collect Face ID data, face recognition templates, faceprints, or biometric identifiers used to identify a person. Planned uses: face data is used only to perform the AI image/video generation, editing, face replacement, pose preservation, style-transfer, and result delivery request you start. We do not use face data for identity verification, account login, advertising, cross-app tracking, building a biometric identification profile, or purposes unrelated to your current request. Sharing, storage, and retention: when a selected AI task requires it, face-containing materials may be processed by contracted AI providers such as OpenAI, Volcengine/Doubao and Seedance, or Kuaishou Kling only to complete the requested generation or editing task. Face-containing materials and related task outputs are stored on Tencent Cloud with your project history until you delete the project, delete the material, or delete your account. Records that must be retained for transaction, security, compliance, or abuse-prevention reasons are de-identified or retained only for the legally required period. We do not sell face data.
3. Device Permissions
Camera and photo library access is used only when you choose to capture or select source material or save generated results. Microphone access is used only when you choose to record audio. Notification access is used for task status and service reminders. You can disable these permissions in system settings at any time.
4. How We Use Information
We use relevant information to complete AI image and video generation, retain projects and history, provide account and subscription features, deliver notifications, protect service security, diagnose failures, and improve the product experience.
5. Third-Party Processing and Sharing
Information necessary for cloud storage, notifications, payments, and AI generation may be processed by contracted cloud, payment, and AI service providers. We do not send your creative materials to third-party AI services before you agree. OpenAI: receives prompts, reference materials, face-containing materials when included in a request, and generation parameters you submit to complete AI generation, analysis, and editing. Volcengine/Doubao and Seedance: receive photos, videos, audio, reference materials, face-containing materials when included in a request, prompts, and generation parameters you submit to complete AI generation, analysis, and editing. Kuaishou Kling: receives photos, videos, reference materials, face-containing materials when included in a request, prompts, and generation parameters you submit to complete AI image/video generation and result delivery. Tencent Cloud: processes account data, materials including face-containing materials, generated outputs, task status, logs, databases, and object storage data for cloud storage, task callbacks, stability troubleshooting, and compliance review. Apple: processes subscription status, purchase records, and App Store transaction identifiers for in-app purchases, renewal, purchase restoration, and refunds. We do not sell personal information or face data, or use it for cross-app tracking or third-party advertising.
6. Storage, Retention, and Deletion
Materials, including face-containing materials, generated results, and account records are retained as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, and maintain security. You can delete projects and tasks in the app, and you can initiate account deletion directly in the app from account/profile settings. Account deletion removes personal account data, login identities, assets, projects, face-containing materials, and related generated outputs. Records that must be retained for transaction, security, compliance, abuse-prevention, or risk-control reasons are de-identified or retained only for the legally required period. 7. Children's Privacy
The service is not intended for children under 14. If we learn that a child's personal information was collected unintentionally, we will handle or delete it promptly as required by law.
8. Policy Updates
We may update this policy when our services, data practices, or legal obligations change. The updated effective date will be published on this page.
